Marlene Dietrich’s sole appearance on Suspense is in a repeat production of Three Times Murder (with a new title). She plays a conniving murderess whose life becomes intertwined with a corrupt money-grubbing lawyer. The initial production was in 1946 with Rita Hayworth. Details about the story, author, and audio production are at:

There are two returnees in the cast in their original 1946 roles. Hans Conried plays the corrupt lawyer and Joe Kearns returns as the judge. William Spier produced that broadcast. Dietrich may have been recruited by Spier based on a positive mutual experience from a year earlier when she appeared on Philip Morris Playhouse.
Dietrich’s career was long and spanned the technologies of silent and modern movies, and the geographies of Europe and the Americas. She did not appear on radio during its golden age very often, usually as a guest. She participated in many WW2 broadcasts in fundraising support of the war effort and humanitarian needs. In the 1953-1954 radio season, she starred in a radio series, Time for Love. An overview of her notable career is at Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marlene_Dietrich
